Buff Orpington

Buff Orpingtons are a soft-feathered, broad-bodied English breed weighing 7-10 lb. Hens lay 150-200 light-brown eggs per year and are known for going broody often (great for hatching). Exceptionally docile and friendly, making them a top choice for families with kids. Their dense feathering handles cold well but they overheat above 90°F without shade and ventilation.
